This game is seriously hilarious. I play this game everyday and the fun never end's. I love this game so much and I will never give it away. New survivors are in this game and they are Coach, Ellis, Rochelle and Nick. Aswell as new monster's such as Jockey, Charger, Witch, Hunter and Spitter. 5 new Campaign's which are The Parish, Dead Center, Hard Rain, Dark Carnival and Swamp Fever. I play this game online everyday and it's awsome. If you don't have this game, buy it. It's really worth it and you will have a blast.

Story
Left 4 Dead 2 is set at roughly the same time as the original – just after the outbreak that turned most of the population into various zombie mutants. Gameplay
Just as with the original Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2 is a first-person shooter which pits players against hordes of zombie-like enemies. As you would expect in a scenario where you are regularly surrounded by masses of the undead, it is very good thing to have plenty of help, as well as weapons at your disposal, and Left 4 Dead 2 has players covered on both accounts. The game features several multiplayer options including 2-8 player online and offline (via system link) support in several modes seen in the first game, including Campaign, Versus, and Survival, as well as the new Scavenge Mode. This new multiplayer option tasks players, in the role of survivors to find a limited number of fuel canisters hidden in a level in order to keep their individual generators going, while other players in the role of the infected try to stop them. In addition the game features very strong co-op play support, with 2-player support locally and 2-4 player support online.

The game features a wealth of melee weapons and additional items handy for battling enemies up-close and personal. Along with melee weapons seen in the first game, players can look forward to wielding new weapons like axes, chainsaws, frying pans, etc. Firearms are also available, but seeing as zombie fighting usually requires a little elbow grease, melee weapons are the mainstay. In addition, players can carry other useful items, including a variety of throwing weapons and several different kinds of support items, like flashlights to startle enemies and light the way in dark environments and healing items like first aid kit and defibrillator kits.

This just fits my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, which has a 15.6" screeen and dimensions of 14.7" x 9.6" x 1.7" (tapered to 1.0"). That's a relatively wide laptop; if it were any wider, the zipper would probably be strained. I would guess the sleeve could hold a laptop up to 14.7" x 10.4" x 1.8", but that's just an estimate as I haven't tried anything larger than mine. I can even fit my power adapter and laptop mouse in the sleeve, but just barely.

Bottom line: this is a lightweight, attractive, inexpensive, functional sleeve that will reasonably protect your laptop, as long as you don't need to carry anything else significant in it.

Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 (Black/Silver) Review

I have a lot of experience with PC games, particularly FPS and strategy games that competitively rely on quick reactions and precise controls. I didn't start buying into game specific hardware and accessories until maybe 4 or 5 years ago. One of the first and best upgrades that can aid any PC is a gaming mouse.

I have used and loved the Logitech G5 for most of that time, using the original single thumb button and recently the dual thumb button controls, which I find useful in being able to use with VOIP without taking my hands off the keyboard or main mouse controls, and also for having easy access to my most frequently used or emergency in game equipment. The other great thing about Logitech gaming mice is the customizable and multi-setting sensitivity controls. Games purposefully alter the sensitivity when driving vehicles, firing different weapons, etc, and being able to change the mouse sensitivity allows you the player to take control of these changes and give you the control you want. When default controls are sluggish, I bump up to high DPI to give me speed my opponents don't expect. When things are too fast or sensitive, I bump it down for precision.

I had no reason to buy the G500 other than I had some extra cash, and I saw that the G500 was just like the G5 except with an extra button, hyper-scroll wheel, and a more advanced laser. I thought, better is better so why not try it out?

When first using this mouse you'll realize that is both familiar and different. The shape is just like the G5, only a bit bigger. The customizable buttons and sensitivity options work the same, and the same basic features are there. But there are adjustments to be made.

The DPI controls have moved over to the left-click button instead of behind the scroll. It took some adjusting, but eventually my fingers have readjusted to the new location and I don't have to remind myself (or realize by trial and error) where those buttons are. Also, there are now 3 thumb buttons. Your thumb will have to be more deft to prevent accidental and misplaced clicks, but with time there wont be any mistakes. The added sensitivity is nice, and I'm still experimenting with what 5 presets I want to have, but there is enough of a range for anyone. I don't see why anyone needs 5700DPI of sensitivity, but its there if you can see reason to cover that much screen that fast.

Overall, its a better G5. There's no need to get this mouse if you are perfectly accustomed to the G5 or similar mice, but if you have the extra money to spend, and want to get those extra upgrades, there's no reason not to get this mouse. The G-series gives the best balance of what a good gaming mouse needs.

Toshiba X20 USB Gaming Mouse Review

I like my X20 gaming mouse. It feels great in my hand and tracks accurately in all dpi modes. The scrolling wheel is smoother than any of my other gaming mice and the thumb buttons are better located than on some of my more expensive gaming mice. The mouse tracks very smoothly on my mouse pad. The pre-set dpi settings make sense and are easy to access in mid game. The left click is a little louder than my other mice but it clicks smoothly and reliably. Given that this mouse is about half the price of my Razer and Logitech gaming mice I am well satisfied with it. I had no quality issues with my mouse at all.

Dynex Desktop Web Camera Review

The web is full of posts by irate purchasers of this little camera that simply couldn't get it to work. With good reason. The software that is shipped with the product is total junk. Fortunately what is available on-line is better. Here's how to solve the black screen problem on an XP. The key is not to allow the machine to install the driver for you. You must install the driver from the device manager in your system folder. The reality is that it is a nice little device ONCE you get it to work.

First, toss the software that came with the camera. Go to http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-459-10-dynex-desktop-web-camera.aspx and download the software you actually need to run the device. (If you previously installed the software, it would be best to remove it before starting.) Download the new software, unzip it and you'll have a dynex folder containing an install file. With your camera NOT connected to your computer, install the software, including the WebCompanion2 program from ArcSoft (this will happen automatically after the Dynex software installs). Reboot if asked to do so. Hook up the camera. Abort any attempt by the computer to search for the needed driver itself. Go to your control panel and find your systems folder. In that folder, find the device manager under the hardware tab. Locate "imaging device" and locate the Dynex camera. Right click on it, then select "update driver". Again, don't let the computer find what you need. Opt to manually locate it and direct the computer to look to the dynex folder most likely on your desktop or found under Programs. Three drivers are found. Two certified and labeled "PC Cam", the other not certified and labeled "Dynex Cam". Select Dynex. That's it. Your camera should work.

Obviously, this is not the way these products should work. You should not have to go through so much grief just to install it.

Panasonic BL-C131A Network Camera Wireless 802.11 Review

I love my new little wireless toy! I found many uses and applications for it and it turned out to be both fun and useful. Here are some of the ways I use it... When I'm away from home I can check when my UPS delivery was done or when my assistants come or go from the office (I have a home office with two assistants) I also use it to check on kids when I'm not around, provided they don't unplug it (it happened once) :) When I'm too lazy to get out of bed, I check the weather or snow outside. I installed it in such an angle so I can move it left-right and can see both outside and inside the living room. I set a few preset points to be able to change position easily and quickly. I love the sound, I sometimes use it to communicate with my friends or my family in Europe. Next step is to get the controller and add more pieces to my wireless home - the wireless lock, the thermostat, light switches, etc. The camera will be programmed to record and save events during the day so I can review them at night. I wish the camera had a bigger range of motion left to right so it could cover more ground and I wish also it had zoom - but I guess these features come with a higher price. All in all I'm very happy with this new toy and with the possibilities it creates.

This camera is great for me to see my friends back home when I'm away at school. It's a little top heavy but if you put it somewhere on a shelf where it won't get bumped, it's fine. The resolution takes a while to set right, and it doesn't do well at night unless there is a lot of light in the room. But it's a great value, and I'm definitely pleased with the product.

Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF Auto Focus System (Black) Review

The Logitech Quickcam Orbit AF is a great piece of webcam tech. When searching for a good quality webcam, I wanted to make sure it had a good framerate, range of options, and be a sturdy piece of equipment. I can say that I got exactly that. Everyone that has seen videos from the cam comment on the quality of the video and as well, the face tracking system works well, even with a couple of people in focus.

The only thing that doesn't make this product a 5 star rating is one of it's attachments. It may have been because I bought this product used, but in very good condition, but I do have to say that the construction of the product makes me question it's quality. With the orbitcam comes a 9 inch connector that attaches to the base which allows the cam to be more at eye level, or for it to allow for viewing objects below it's baseline. I mainly use the cam with this connector and if the cam is bumped or nudged the connection with the base and the connector becomes lost. It really isn't a problem because I just setup the video again, but it is an annoyance, especially when talking to someone. It is a small problem, but I did want to reference it regardless. A great product nonetheless and a great seller as well.

I had tremendous Skype videoconferencing problems with this camera until I removed all the extra software that comes with the unit (and which they encourage you to load). Since then it has worked fine. This is on a PC with Windows XP. I can't say how it will perform on other operating systems or different computer architectures.

I find the HP to be worth the price, but the mounting assembly is only so so, and the camera is so light and the cable so stiff that just touching the cable on the desktop a couple of feet away can tweak the camera out of position. But I can live with it.
